Before Show
My team and I have viewed the site of Lennox Bridge, Parramatta. We have analysed that we have a great area to work with. The inclusion zone that we calculated after the site inspection was 60m in diameter which is considerably safe distance for the firework display .The audience will be distant from the display by around 100m which is a safe distance my team have agreed on.
The fireworks that we have decided to use is an aqua shell. We have decided for that firework because it is necessary in the water environment we are displaying at and reduces environmental impacts. We have also decided to use a series of blinkers because their are small but gives an amazing effect of flashing. The last firework used will be the bouquet because lighting one fuse this will light all these little like-candles off and leaves one big concentrated and long effect.
We have began writing up a quote for this display and this will cost approximately $3050 for a 8-12 minute display for the following fireworks used, blinkers, bouquets, and Aqua shells. We have returned this quote to the team and we have agreed to the deadlines and cost. This quote has been forwarded to the Parramatta Council and have agreed with the fee and the safety legislations.

We have brought in a Fire Department agreement just in case of any emergency needed, all the emergency department are aware of emergencies.

During Show
The day has come and we are here at the site of display at a 9:00am in the morning. We have talked to the man on the Display Plan and he has sent us his plan of the show. We have began to set up barriers 40m passed the 60m diameter inclusion zone.
We have been advised that their is a series of flammable trees around the Lennox bridge. We have used this and called fire emergency in case of any major issues. We have also brought with us two fire extinguishers just in case. The show will began at approximately 11:59pm and conclude at 12:10am.

Post Show
The show was a major success, the audience was so impressed and luckily everyone was safe and no emergency department wa called and needed. The use of our fireworks didn't leave very much excess which was good for our show and the environment.
The beautiful blue and yellow merged so well and really gave out that Parramatta. The contrast of the Aussie colours green and gold was amazing to see you country uniting as a nation on such an important like the New Years.
The clean up process has began and we planned the fallout of our fireworks correctly to avoid damage. The burning pieces of cardboard fell to the Parramatta River underneath and this took the flame out. We took a swim to collect the leftover excess and overall this was an awesome experience for the team as pyrotechnicians and I hope of the handful of people also enjoyed the display.
